PLA for reference - 205 °C - Layer thickness 0.2 mm - Retraction 1 mm. TPU - 205 °C - Layer thickness 0.2 mm - Retraction 2 mm - Print speed 15 mm/s. WebBoth of these adjustments happened gradually, making sure there was no change in stringing between adjustments. I do have rafts and Z hops enabled in Cura, as previous prints of this model were knocked off the base even after leveling the bed properly, and almost every time a "hop" is performed, some stringing occurs.

WebOct 23, 2024 · The only way to reduce it somewhat was to enable wipe and z-hop. The grey benchy on the left was when the roll was new. The right is current. The white benchy on the left was right after opening the roll. The right is after enabling wipe and z-hop. I’m going to try drying the white roll to see if that helps. Any other suggestions? Smithy

Nozzle is 0.4mm, which is the stock nozzle that it comes with. Normally you don't want to go past 8 though. You risk some real retraction issues past that with filament expanding past the heatsink.
